Digital work and life balance
Logi free is a concept developed to help people to find a good digital work and life balance. Due to the fact that the digitalisation is always increasing, so will agile workspaces. We can se trend shift that regular offices will move into more agile spaces or into the home. How can you find a good digital life balance when working from home?
How will the future of agile workspaces look like and how should Logitech as a brand adapt to that? That was the project brief, starting with doing trend research and creating personas and scenarios on how workspaces will look like in the future. Then continuing analyzing the Logitech brand and their existing products to create a new design language for Logitech focus on tools for the future agile workspace.

Digital devices and 24/7 availability
Looking at the past without that much digital devices, it was easier for people to leave the work at the office. Nowadays, almost every phone has a smartphone and other digital devices we can see a clear shift of trends that the 8-hour workday has stretched to 24-hours availability for many people.
Regular offices shifts to more agile workspaces
Trend research shows that the digitalisation makes it possible for people to work almost anywhere at any time. We believe that regular offices will decrease in the future and people will work more from other places, like home, on-the go or from public spaces.
Distraction from not work related things while working and vice versa
We made an online survey (50 participants) where people believe that they are spending too much time on their digital devices. Most people said that they would like to be more disconnected especially when hanging out with family, friends and during sleep. What we also could see is that the majority of people said that they get distracted from not work related thing while they are working.
Identified future personas and problems
Based on the trend research and user survey, we created three different future personas that struggles with different problems around the agile working and digital devices.
Ben - Webbdesigner at a consultancy
Easily gets distracted from home duties and leisure when working from home
Annie - Boss at a bank office
Often spend too much time on what’s urgent and forget about things that is good for her wellbeing
Kim - Remote english teacher and Influencer
Find it stressful of being always reachable and having the fear of missing something out
Bring the important information at the right time
Our ideation process started with the question - “what if we could get the right information at the right time” with the aim of focusing on the right things at the right time. We created three different concepts to test on users…
